In this world, few talk programs on the Radio target parents with young children. These programs should help parents in handling any type of problem concerning their children. Talk programs should concentrate more on the youth because they will become tomorrow's future. Teenagers and children need to be instructed to know the difference between right and wrong. Many people never realize this, but talk radio programs gradually change their minds. .
Many talk programs are hosted by Libertarians, and this appeals the audience because they talk about topics the listeners want to hear (lp.org). Talk programs air, not just what the listeners want to hear, but what they also need to succeed in life. Listening to talk programs everyday, has been a custom to elderly people. This a normal routine for them. But, the teenagers and children have also started to pay more attention to talk programs and sink in what the people on the radio have to say. Many teenagers turn to the radio looking for advice or solutions to their problems. For example, if a teenager's parents become divorced, the teenager will probably become extensively emotional and will not know how to respond to his emotions. Then, he will seek advice from someone with experience about these situations. Most of the time, he listens to the radio for advice to solve his problem (Lipert, 154). Sometimes, people change from bad to good, just by listening to someone on the radio, who is trying to persuade people find peace and happiness with our brothers and sisters. It only takes a few simple words to totally change one's life.
Children also can be affected by talk programs. Many children involuntarily listen to what their parents are listening to, whether it be in the car or at home. After awhile, they tend to pay close attention to what their parents hear. They think that if their parents listen to the radio, it must be useful or informative to them, so then they try it for themselves.
