Poverty is on the rise with or without us knowing. In an instant, a person could be in poverty by the way the economy is today. Jobs are harder to find more than ever, and if you have a job that does not support the cost of living, a person could get into trouble financially immediately. We do have support systems that help people that are in poverty, however it still seems that only a select few receive the benefits. If a person is struggling and has children, how do you expect them to work forty plus hours a week to make a living for their family? Most of the time individuals do not have family or close friends to watch their children while at work, so they would have to pay a babysitter to take care of them. Being in a state of poverty, individuals tend to not be able to afford it, so they will lose their job.
I think poverty is a major issue that needs extreme attention. In my opinion, if a person is struggling with poverty, do you not think they will do whatever it takes to make things better? From a standpoint, I believe it is all about how the individuals self-discipline themselves. If you are not motivated to do something different with your life to get something different things are not going to change. Many people are stuck in the social norm and scared to jump out of their comfort zone. We all can relate to this at some point in time. People do not realize that anyone can be successful; it does not matter whether or not you have good connections or somewhat of an income, it is all about the drive to be consistent, persistent and patient on accomplishing your biggest goal in life. We are God's highest form of creation and we need to be living up to our potential, if we are not, we need to learn from it, not give up! .
As you see, somehow we need to incorporate more personal development to the one's that want it to raise their awareness and belief level. If a person is willing to listen and change, they will make their lives so much better.
