Have you ever felt so stressed that you want to quit? This seemed too happened to me while taking AP History. From taking this class I have learned you can only get better if you practice. You should never give up no matter how tough a situation gets. My life in writing a grammar started very early in my household. Through the years I have gotten better at my writing skills, so I had thought. In the AP History course I was required to write papers and remember important events. The information I have learned will be giving on a final exam that could be counted as college credit if I passed the state exam. My struggles of writing begin on my very first paper that I was required to write over the summer. I had to read the first three chapters of my text book and read a novel on the "Lies My Teacher Told Me"." After reading this book my teacher wanted me to write my very first paper for the class. I felt my paper was going to be awesome because I felt I had analysis the book well. I felt I gave a great overview of what the book was about. .
However, prior to her grading my paper she had told me that my paper was an everywhere. She said that I had a good structure, but I would sometimes lose focus on what I supposed to be writing on. I looked at her in disbelief because I felt that the paper was excellent to be my first one. I received a low grade that was very dissatisfying to me. I was so hurt by this grade. I just wanted to drop the class and switch to a regular subject class. As bad as I wanted to give up on Ms. Owens' she had seen something in me that I didn't see in myself to get me to stay. "She had told me that she sees me going place in life and even when times seem rough just don't give up keep going." I was grateful for the comment but I still had doubted myself when I came to my written.
As the semester progresses forward my writing was not as strong as my teacher had liked it too been.
