The kingdom of Sweden has a gorgeous coastline and they have a lavish history. In the European Union, Sweden is the third largest country. The first recorded people that lived in Sweden in 12,000 B.C were small groups that hunted and fished together (Naurin, 2014, p. 48`). This coastline feature was a big feature and helped to define their culture. The fishing industry and many other industries helped shaped their steady economic system. They have been newly founded a constitutional monarchy in 1974, this young political system is doing many things to set up the Government correctly (Cowie, 1970, p 111). The culture, economics, and politics are the foundation of who Sweden was and who Sweden is becoming. Because of Sweden's economic, political, and cultural characteristics, it has a strong economy and their citizens are happier which makes it a valuable asset to the EU.
Sweden has a great ecosystem and there are many happy people in Sweden from recent polling. Being that they are founded on the principles of Equality and openness, this allows that to remain in a state of peace for many years. With Sweden having these ideals has started to form the ideals that anyone can be accepted into Sweden's culture. Many people love Sweden for the freedoms they have and much of their legislations. In this country homosexual relationships have been legal since 1944 (Knoespel, 2014, p. 105). They were also the first country to allow freedom of the press in 1766 and they still rank at the top of global press freedom rankings. Another part why they are so happy is that, the government requires twenty-five days of paid leave. The government controls many things to reduce stress and costs of the Swedish citizens. Swedes also pay much less as the government regulates many aspects of their day-to-day lives. Such as, Daycare cost on how much the people make which comes out to be about one-tenth of what people in America pay.
