Personal Experience - Breaking My Nose

The pain was awful, blood everywhere. It was that moment when I realized that my nose is broken. All I can remember was a softball, blood, and me yelling. I've never seen so much blood in my life, all over me, the garage and the towel. I know I may be playing this out like a huge scene, even though it's just a broken bone. But there's a story behind it, one you're going to want to hear. The sounds, sights and feelings while this whole ordeal happened were crazy at the time and I would never want to re-live them.
It was a Tuesday night, we just got home from my sisters softball game and we were all still outside chilling because it was a gorgeous night. My sister, my brother and I were all playing softball, and I needed to go inside for a minute. So I went inside and when I came outside, all hell broke loose. I walk into the garage, and the last thing I remember was seeing blood all over the floor. What had happened was my sister went to throw the softball into the garage, so when she threw it it bounced off the door at a perfect angle and it bounced off and hit me straight in the nose. My sister has quite the arm because that throw was hard. After impact, the first thing I said was somebody get me a towel and mom, I look down and the garage floor was covered in blood looking like a crime scene from TV. At the time my sister was freaking out and I was calm. In all honesty it didn't really hurt as bad as you would expect it. I was just in shock that I just broke my nose in a matter of 5 minutes. As you would expect my mom was freaking out, saying call 911 and that I need to be rushed to the hospital. When I was just saying I'll put some ice on it and go rest. But in the end, she had the last say and there I was off to the hospital.
So, I arrive to the hospital, with a towel glued to my face because my nose wouldn't stop bleeding. I get checked in and now they just tell me to wait to be called.
