These are the core values on which the United States is built. The United States has made it a mission to welcome people with no regard to race gender or origin with a vision of opportunity. Many people move to the United States with the intentions of creating a better life for themselves as well as their family. The U.S. is one of the few countries that allows you to move in social status/rank. In other words, you're not obligated to be a farmer because your father was one. Unfortunately this benevolence has not completely inspired good will from others. Some people have chosen to take advantage of this somewhat open-door policy by threating harm upon the United States. Lack of restriction is the foundational issue with ISIS, the current immigration policy and creating a new immigration policy. .
ISIS is a very powerful rising militant group that is best "known for killing dozens of people at a time and carrying out public executions, crucifixions and other acts" (CNN Library, 2014). ISIS originated from al-Qaeda, in Iraq around 2004 and it has spread throughout the Middle East. The man believed to be in charge of this intimidating association is Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Baghdadi has made an effort to keep details about his life very inconspicuous in an effort to maintain his status as leader of a terroristic group. As his group began to gain power and became more aggressive it emerged from al-Qaeda into The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria also known as ISIS. .
According to CNN, "[t]he aim of ISIS is to create an Islamic state across Sunni areas of Iraq and in Syria" (CNN Library, 2015). The most dangerous thing about ISIS is that this group is resilient. They operate on grounds of brutality with no signs of regret. Isis is in pursuit of a totalitarian Islamic nation and they have shown determination by executing anyone that disagrees or gets in the way of their vision.
The current immigration policy does no justice for the United States security in reference to ISIS as well as other terroristic groups similar to ISIS.
