Why did I chose workplace negativity? I selected this subject because I believe it is a significant threat to the success of human resource management in organizations.
I was curious to identify the sources, consequences and possible solutions to conflicts. How can human resource management effectively regulate the propagation of workplace negativity? Are there signs that can predict the dawn of conflict, can awareness alone solve the issue, perhaps not.
Human resource management has a responsibility towards the organization it serves and towards the human capital it manages to proactively act in favour of maintaining a positive and desired work environment.
Cause of Employee Negativity.
Everybody handles negative and positive events differently and therefore reflects it in a different way. Workplace negativity is not only related to job issues. People who have unpleasant personal lives or experiencing a temporarily difficult time will often let these situations influence their work attitudes. It must be understood and recognized that this will happen. Many individuals might have complicated lives outside of work and had to make adjustments to be at work.
