And some Americans even believe that it is their birthright to own a firearm, and they think that it is important, because keeping a loaded gun in the their house for protection, makes them feel much more safe. And according to the time magazine 49% of the households in United States actually have a gun, and most of them for protection. And all these guns have the potential to be threatening and dangerous at some point, therefore should all of them be handled with caution and should be stored in a locked firearm safe. A majority of these guns are mostly used for self-defense, hunting, law enforcement, amusement at the shooting range, and other usages. But sadly some of the other uses, could be, for instance: taking a human life or something like armed robbery. Therefore a majority of people in the United States of America believes that the U.S needs a much stricter gun law. .
The U.S government has placed some gun control laws, but most of the laws were made to make the general public feel safer in their everyday lives. For instance: the government prohibited a handful of assault weapons, and these weapons are very rarely used in shooting incidents.
