Drone warfare is starting to show up all over the world. As the technology gets more and more advanced, soon no humans will serve in battle and many lives will be saved. Drones will be doing any of the necessary fighting for us. Is drone warfare more expensive then sending a pilot out in a jet? Actually no, drones are cheaper to make and run than a conventional fighter jet. As drones not only take out the harm for pilots, they also help keep ground soldiers out of harms way as well. The drones are not only used to tell whether if a group of people are moving tactically or whether it's just a group of harmless people, but can also be a deadly weapon with missiles attached. Not only will the drones decrease the lives lost in military aircrafts and ground control, but will also allow the pilot of the UAV ( unmanned aerial vehicle) be close to home and keep his or her family worry free. Only the militaries of the world should be allowed to use such technology as it will lessen the costs of war and also save lives of military soldiers. .
Because of the amount of U.S. soldiers that die in combat, there should be an increase in the amount of drone warfare to help protect the lives of the soldiers. Drone warfare takes the pilots out of harms way and puts a UAV or unmanned aerial vehicle in the sky to be shot down instead (Weapons, Gear, and Uniforms). Taking a pilot to control the UAV or also known as SWORDS (Special Weapons Observation Reconnaissance Detection Systems) from as far as away as possible is only ideal (History of Weapons). If you could protect and defend your country without putting beloved soldiers in harms way, would you not? As technology keeps advancing, soon no one will have to send any troops to war because robots will be in their place instead (Weapons, Gear, and Uniforms). .
As said before, these systems will keep being advanced and advanced. Military planners are now trying to develop drones that will fly, maneuver, and launch attacks on their own.
