Chinese Philosopher - Confucius

He had said a lot about education as well, "When people are educated the distinctions between social classes disappear" & "People become better when educated", this really is explained when he opens up his own school which had involved the rich and the poor, he had experienced the segregation between the social classes because he was poor and really didn't have the opportunity like others to have teachers to guide him, instead he had devoured Chinese Literature such as Poetry and Classical Literature. Which brings me down to another one of his quotes "You should give education to common people instead of segregating them", he had said this because he had the vision if that all people were knowledgeable then they can make something out of their life's, not like how nobles take advantage of their position or really don't take advantage because they have more ways and even better sources of where to get their knowledge from. The saying I really follow most of my life is "Don't do to others what you rather not be done to you", this is really a straight out thought meaning that if you don't want anything bad to happen to you don't do it to anybody else, or if your not nice people wont be nice to you. He got that thought from when he had lost his family, mainly his mom because he didn't meet his father, so he felt that if he did nice things then people would be nice with him. Ask yourself to what really draws a person to committing a crime; it could have been mostly poverty, hunger or even revenge. Confucius said "It is okay to judge a criminal case but what is the motive" meaning what was the reason for the crime to be committed. Since he was all poor and hungry most of his life he really understood the back story of a hungry or poor criminal. The quote that was most intriguing and inspiring was "The superior man demands much from himself.
