            There are many differences in speaking and writing in the English language. A few examples may include speaking and writing professionally. These can help land a job, have professional conversations, or make speeches to the public. If you speak or write unprofessionally, it may have some negative impacts in your life. Anyone will use all of these at some point in their life and I will explain why. .
             There are a few reasons why someone may speak professionally: you sound more mature, it makes you sound more intelligent, and it is something employers look for. If someone would receive an interview, and they showed up talking professionally, they have more of a chance of getting the job. Business owners want someone who can be reliable and talk to their customers in a professional way. If you were around someone who is a famous figure or someone like a mayor of a town, you do not want to sound unintelligent. It is very important to speak professionally especially when you do not know who is surrounding you. .
             Writing professionally may also increase your chances of a positive outcome to what youre trying to do. If you fill out a job application, and you write with proper grammar and punctuation, you will have a better chance at landing the job. Businesses look for those things in the application part of the hiring process. It shows that you are someone who learns very easily. We learn proper English in early years of schooling to help guide us in decision making on when we use a certain tone of voice or proper language. Writing professionally can help your chances in getting something you may want. .
             Speaking unprofessionally may have some negative impacts in your life. For example, if you are talking to a professor or someone who is well-known, you do not want to talk to someone as if you came from the bad part of town. It is highly unprofessional and you may risk your chance of having a connection with that person.
