The use of marijuana for medical purposes has been legalized in thirteen states and all states will probably adopt similar policies in the near future. I think all states should quickly find a way to incorporate the legalization of marijuana into their systems because of all the benefits it has not only on the people who use it but also the communities and states where users live. All the things that are treated by marijuana make it such a great asset to have in a state to treat cancer patients and in return it will lead to a boost in the state's economy. Taking this information into Consideration I believe that the use of Marijuana for those over the age of twenty- one should be legal in all states. .
Marijuana has gotten a bad rep for years until lately because many scientists have started to research it. After multiple researches and test were conducted the results amazed many scientist so they decided to bring it forward and present it to many treatment searching facilities to try and use it as a cure . In the end they all found out that marijuana can help patients with such diseases as Alzheimer's, anxiety , Parkinson's , cancer , epilepsy , glaucoma and multiple sclerosis just to name a few . it can may be able to slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease, have anti-anxiety effects , alleviate pain and inflammation , significantly reduced multiple sclerosis pain, eased tremors and improved fine motor skills in patients with Parkinson's disease and it can turns off a gene called "Id-1, " which cancer cells use to spread. The fact that it can help with all these diseases is enough evidence to why it should be legalized. If it can even slow down something as deadly as cancer then I see no reason why other states should not be legalizing it. When one state has something that a particular patient needs to help them and another state doesn't allow for them to be treated by it in their home state it just creates a problem.
