             The following essay is about psychology and the different people who made it possible for us to comprehend and being able to learn about what psychology is and how it affects our everyday life. Since the 1800's many conclusions have been made about the human race and its nature and thanks to each and one of these psychologists, naturalists, or behaviorist who took it up and notch and decided to conclude experiments giving us proof of how complex one specific subject can be. Each person has a different point of view and each one made a huge impact on today's society, with this essay we will be able to see how their discoveries has helped us understand everyday life, but in order to understand our life we must first learn about their life and their upbringings.
             The Many Faces of Psychology.
             Many people have had many impacts in today's society but no one has ever been as worldwide known as Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution. Charles Darwin was born in March 12, 1809 in Downe, England he was the fifth of sixth children and was born in a wealthy upbringing, when he became of age he matriculated in the school of Shrewsbury and then in 1825 he enrolled in Edinburgh University to study medicine and be a physician like his father. Besides being interested in the field of medicine, he was also caught up in the sea and wanted to do researches on marine invertebrates. His family raised him in a religious environment, Charles aspired to be a priest so he signed up for the Christ's College of Cambridge, but in order to become a priest and being able to take classes in such college he needed to learn Greek which he already knew but had forgotten about it. Once he re-learned Greek he was accepted into the same facility in 1828, during that time he also liked to collect beetles with his friends. After he was able to achieve his B.A examination and pass it in 1831 Charles and Professor John Stevens Henslowe went on a journey on boat around the world to discover new things, he investigated geology and zoology in South America, the Galapagos Islands and various islands of the Pacific Ocean; this gave him the title of a naturalist.
