This breaks my heard knowing that so many females get sexually assaulted for serving their country and can't do anything about it because it might jeopardize their job. .

They can also have severe cases of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, thoughts of death or suicide, prolonged sadness or unexplained crying spells, significant change in weight or appetite, loss of energy or persistent fatigue, significant change in sleep patters (insomnia, sleeping too much, fitful sleep, etc.) And loss of interest and pleasure in activates previously enjoyed; social withdrawal. In an article that N.N. Sarkar and Rina Sarkar wrote they say, "Sexual assault on women, unlike any other offence, e.g., theft, robbery or murder, leaves a deep-rooted effect or stigma in the body and mind of a woman who has to live the rest of her life in society with the unpleasant shadow of this incident. Does this shadow of undesired experience of sexual assault haunt the woman throughout her life? Does the life of a sexually assaulted woman become miserable due to its impact on her psychosocial and economic status?
