Constitution of the Success Club

 


             Section V - Resignation.
             Members of the Success Club may be asked to resign for any of the following reasons:.
             - Absent from four consecutive Success Club meetings.
             - Have not paid dues within a reasonable amount of time.
             - Have acted in such a manner as to bring poor renown unto the Club.
             .
             Members may also voluntarily resign from a position of office, and all resignations must be submitted in writing to the President of the Club.
             ARTICLE III. Officers.
             Section I - Elected Officers.
             Elected offices of the Club shall be President, Vice President, Bursar, Speaker of the House, and Social Chair. Elected officers will serve a term of one academic year, with elections held during the first month of the first semester each year. A quorum of three-quarters of the voting membership must be present to elect officers, with a two-thirds majority needed to pass a decision.
             Section II - Officer Duties.
             President.
             Shall be responsible for overall operation of the club.
             Shall conduct all meetings.
             Shall make sure that the officers are performing their duties.
             Shall meet regularly with the Board of Executives to discuss matters of the club.
             Vice President.
             Shall assume duties of the President should the President be absent.
             Shall assist the President when necessary to perform duties.
             Shall be liaison to Office of Student life and Club Advisor.
             Bursar.
             Shall be responsible for collecting dues.
             Shall be responsible for organizing fundraising activities.
             Shall keep track of all Club funds.
             Shall apply for applying to all grants and following up with grant applications.
             Speaker of the House.
             Shall be responsible for taking roll call.
             Shall be responsible for opening and closing the meetings, dealing with topics not pertinent.
             to that meetings message.
             Shall be responsible for submitting an annual roster to the Office of Student Life.
             Shall be responsible for keeping track of members' attendance.
             Social Chair.
             Shall be responsible for distributing information about the Club.
