             Moreover, she asked the Howard University community to be vigilant of politician's reactions and events. Blacks and Latinos have been losing life savings but politicians have showed a lack of response to the problem. These problems have continued to occur and many citizens feel as though they have no control. But, Ms. McKinney has informed black citizens that they hold the power of change at the election polls. In conclusion, Ms. McKinney said "Things will only get worse if we do nothing. We have to be willing to sacrifice for it. Change the statistics and become a courageous resister to injustic.".
             "Hardball – How Politics is Played Told by One Who Knows the Game," is a book that emphasizes government from a political point of view by Chris Matthews. The author, Chris Matthews, has been criticized, by Democrats, for his views and conservatism. As a response he said, "I'm more conservative than people think I am. I voted for George W. in 2000." Throughout the book, readers are able to see Chris Matthews's attitude towards major political parties, democrat and republican. As a result, he expressed his favor for republicans such as Ronald Regan.
