Immigration - Coming to America

All immigrants know the United States as "The country of opportunities " and it is true, here in the United States we have the opportunity to have whatever we want if we work hard enough, that is something that doesn't happen in every country. In China, for example, the minimum wage goes from 1,450 to 1,620 Renminibi ($237-$265) a month compared to $7.25 an hour in the US working 40 hour a week, you end up earning 1,160 a month it's a big difference, isn't it? Economics is a big factor that influences immigrants to find a way to come into the United States to find a job. The majority of the illegal immigrants are hard workers and will work anywhere to help their family. People who are against immigration use the excuse that immigrants are taking U.S. citizens jobs, but according to an article of the New York Times "There are many ways to debate immigration, but when it comes to economics, there isn't much of a debate at all. Nearly all economists, of all political persuasions, agree that immigrants " those here legally or not " benefit the overall economy. " It's very simple if you legalize immigrants, they will earn higher wages and will be able to spend more in cloth, food, housing and other purchase. Not only that but it will also help to the creation of 121,000 extra jobs over the next ten years. Just like you and I they're here to work and have a life, just like you. They wake up every morning for work just like you, they have to eat, pay rent, pay bills, and taxes just as any U.S. citizens would.
Illegal immigrants have trouble finding jobs, but that doesn't stop them. Latinos in this case are known for being warriors, for not giving up and always finding a way to get what they want, so if they can't find a job they will create their own. It goes from just selling water bottles at a stop light, to a graphic design business, and that is what Carla Chavarria did. Carla is a 20 year old illegal immigrant who was brought to the United States by her parents when she was just 7 years old.
