If there is equality in the distribution of resources there will not any problem of urbanization. Rural-Urban migration is a severe issue in Bhutan.
             Thought the law states social equalities yet the social problems are unexceptional in Bhutanese society. The Social equality is a state in which all people enjoy same equal right and freedom of identity and livelihood under the law with absence of discrimination and racism. Thought the social conflicts are not recognized formally, there are lots of social problems either unnoticed or neglected. There arises a problem between the two persons of same origin and ability that notify the horizontal inequality that has the impact in the society. Though social inequality is not a great issue in Bhutan in comparison to other nation yet there are notable issues where few groups of people are victimize especially within the class and caste of Southern people. According to Matras (1975) "Social system has been responsible for the occupational stereotyping, and that if progress were to be made the first step would be to change the attitude of the society. " .
             The numbers of old age beggars are increasing as they are being abandoned by their children and children selling demand edible things are increasing in Thimphu streets leading to social problems as these children are prohibited to sell doma and other edibles things by the policemen and scolded by their parents at home. This it shows the inequality in the society. Many children of rural area are taken to the town area as a baby sister. In many cases those baby sitter and child labor are the children of poor family who have to work hard for their livelihood. The young age and older age people are suffering more for their survival. Therefore if there is equality the old age and young children should get their right to live a normal life just like their parents.
             Gender equality refers to equal treatment of all gender without any bias or discrimination.
