The group RUPE believes that the invasion of Iraq is a hopeless bet by a division of American capital to protect their grasp on power that is handled by the intention to halt economic crisis through military means. Ultimately, The Research Unit for Political Economy also believe that the war will bring democracy to the Middle East. Due to the liberal beliefs of the group RUPE, their opinions are bias and more against invading Iraq. .
             Lawrence F. Kaplan and William Kristol are the authors of "The War over Iraq: Saddam's Tyranny and America's Mission. " Lawrence Kaplan and William Kristol are two very accomplished men. Kaplan is a graduate of Columbia University, Oxford, and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced Studies. Lawrence has also written about the foreign policy and international affairs of the United States for numerous well known publications such as the Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal. The other author William Kristol was born December 23rd, 1952. He was an American neoconservative political analyst and commentator. Kristol also served as a foreign policy advisor for Senator John McCain's presidential campaign. William Kristol taught political philosophy and American politics at the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. Due to Lawrence Kaplan and William Kristol's conservative beliefs, their opinions are bias and favor the war in Iraq.

             There are three parts to the "Bush Doctrine " that make Lawrence Kaplan and William Kristol believe that the doctrine will help America lead to a better Iraq and a better world. Kaplan and Kristol believes that the "Bush Doctrine " will lead to a better Iraq and a better world because the first element of the doctrine will allow the National Security of the United States to prevent an attack under the acknowledgement of certain circumstances. Lawrence Kaplan and William Kristol believe that the "Bush Doctrine " will authorize America's National Security to recognize and demolish any nation that poses a threat against America before the posed threat reaches danger within the states.
