Globalization, Honda and Hyundai

             In regards to both Hyundai and Honda, they both hold important factors that lead them to their success in the international global market. Both companies have emphasized the significance of globalization, technology, consumers, and government policy. Hyundai seems to focus more on customer relationships as Honda focuses more on the idea of new and innovative technology. However, they both lead to the main idea of being a globalized company and expanding their market whether it is through customers or attracting customers through the new technologies. Localization and flexibility are the top key components for these two companies to gain the market share that they own today as well as providing needs of the customers through their wants (Frontere 2013). All of these factors lead Honda and Hyundai to what they are today in the changing global business environment. .
             Competition to Global Reach.
             The automotive market has climbed up with much success for companies, however, the success rates depend on the strategies that these companies adopts with emerging markets. With Honda and Hyundai being the worlds top automotive companies, the competition arises as one becomes more competitive than the other when it comes to global reach. As competition grows, companies need to launch new models at short intervals in order to keep up with the market. Supply chain relationships become important as well as meeting the needs and expectations of the customers. As Honda and Hyundai both incorporate the idea of internationalization, their have their own strategies that they use in becoming a more competitive global business. "The emerging globally integrated enterprise is a company that fashions its strategy, its management, and its operations in pursuit of the integration of production world wide" (Sherer 2008, p.259). The ability to cross both cultural and geographical border is a big deal and doing so allows Honda and Hyundai to become competitive with respect to this global reach.
