The wars between the French and the English lead us to the Quebec we have today. Quebec was founded in 1534 by an explorer named Jacque Cartier. In the time Quebec was a French possession called New France. New France was a source of income for france. Many years passed and conflicts accrued between the French and the British. The final battle on the plains of of Abraham decided the faith of Quebec. The British won and Quebec was now a British empire. From this moment on the French people of Quebec tried to regain their power and have succeeded because we could see the result today. Every single country society and culture wants full political power for example they could demand to have their own language, culture and maybe try to influence education. This happened a lot in the province of Quebec threw out her history. When a group of people or nation take possession of a land they all intended to have the to have full political powers. When European countries started to expand their empire threw out the globe their was some tension that accrued. For example the colonization of Quebec. The first European country that conquered and settled in Quebec were the French. The French established a fur trade and source of income for the mother country. They had an intendant at first then a governor. That meant they had full political power. Later on the British decided to take over Quebec and its people that's when clashes erupted. The revelry that took place between the French and the British in Europe just got extended over seas for the possession of the colony of Quebec. The to parties declared war over the colony and it was a blood bath. This war ended with the battle of the plains of Abraham and the English won. They took possession of the colony. This lead the British to take full political power. For the years to come the French and the British will fight for full political power. This type of fighting for political power is still taking place today in our modern society.
