This is an event I recall from three years ago. It's about a young who man leaves his homeland to an overseas country- America, nisus for his future. .
Three and half years ago I had a conversation with my sponsor at a radio station. We talked about what we should do and what we should focus on in the proposed project and so forth. At the end of the discussion, my sponsor said that she would like to ask me a question. "What's that?" I replied. She asked me how I felt about this host job at the radio station and what are my plans of the next three years. Her question really took me by surprise. I said I took this job because of my personality, I'm a man with passion, and yet I'm confident while my show broadcast on air, but frankly I didn't have a plan for the next three years. She continues asking me how I felt about producing a television show? "Wow that's big, I never thought about that." I said. Then, we start to talk more deeply about this issue. Half a year later, we begin to implement going abroad, including how she can help me and what should I do, so we came up with a plan and part of this plan is that I have and go to America for my academic degree of filmmaking and TV production. .
There are a great deal of preparations for me regarding going to the America, for example, getting student Visa, packing clothes, and learning English. As a matter of fact, it took me a whole month to obtain everything that I needed. Furthermore, I traveled back and forth hundred of miles to deal with different stuffs and people regarding all the required documents and papers that I needed. The most important thing was the Student Visa. It took me two weeks for all of the preparations. Finally I reached the Office of America Trade in Taiwan. I showed my application form along with my ID for passing the front gate, and there were several different security systems ahead of me, such as a hand-held metal detector, and an X-ray machine for personal belongings.
