Life, Logic and Reason

Without logic their argument might as well be invaluable or even invalid. An argument with a person without any sense of reason or logic seems merely unnecessary as he/she would not present any basis for a reliable conclusion. Instead the conclusion would be reached based on the fact that one party lacks logic and so the other must be right while it would ultimately be more desirable if the conclusion was reached from careful analysis of two logical arguments finally achieving the best solution. However there ought to be room for other alternative ideas on the matter, as logic sometimes tends to block the possibility of a third" proposition. .
This highlights the importance of logic, having none being undesirable and having too much, limiting, as argued by Andre Gide. Andre Gide also said that too much logic is boring; dull, monotonous, characteristics that fall short of creativity and open mindedness. One may ask, if logic and creativity even complement one another. A matter addressed by Albert Einstein when he said: "Logic will get you from point A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere." Known for his impeccable work in many fields, Albert Einstein maintained the theory that logic alone was not enough for everyday living, nor is it sufficient for fully bloomed imagination; one aspect that has contributed to the discovery of scientific ideologies that have changed the livelihood of mankind. An example of imaginative thinking would be Thomas Edison who invented the lightbulb by daydreaming in his class, wondering how he would be able to "light up " the whole world. It's been said his teachers told him he would never amount to anything but had Edison used his "logical senses" he might have reasoned that it was better for him to cease his "immature" thoughts," however he allowed himself to be illogical in that moment and became one profound inventors known to man. This argues that for incredible achievements one must be curious and imaginative which means putting logic in a box.
