Many students can benefit greater through the use of traditional teaching combined with learning through the use of social networking; this will allow students to not only engage however, they can also comprehend with any material they are faced with, giving them a chance to evolve just as the world around them continues to grow. The incorporation of social networking sites such as Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube to enhance learning experiences, can capture excitement and interest which will most certainly lead to more understanding and student engagement. In the eyes of many social networking is seen as a negative influence in the lives of students; it is believed that the only thing that comes from social networking sites is distraction. Certainly, social networking provides students with plenty of opportunities for engagement and understanding. .
             Students who use social networking sites are able to retain, assess, investigate and share material; without any acknowledgment students develop these skills, skills that are much needed in post-secondary studies and in the workplace today. Social networking within the classroom has provided students with many new experiences; these experiences have given students the ability to expand and sharpen their skills, strengths and communication abilities.
