For the past couple of days, I have had the opportunity to sit down and record the amount of food that I have consumed. Recording what I intake in my body has allowed me to become conscious of my eating habits and what I need to improve and keep the same. Even though I try to live a healthy lifestyle and be cautious of what I eat, there are times when I would catch myself slipping up. My body mass index happens to be 20.5 and between the three days, I consumed about 7134 kcal. The foods that I love to eat are usually those that I enjoy in moderation but often times, because they are present in the household, I start to enjoy them a little too much. Having the opportunity to see how much calories and the amount of sugar I intake helped me lower the amount of sweets I eat to get back to healthy lifestyle that I was trying to pursue before. .
Every day in the morning when I wake up, I would usually eat breakfast. There are days that I don't because I usually don't have the time to prepare anything. On the days that I have recorded my eating habits, it happens to be the days that I had the opportunity to get up and make something. I eat breakfast in the morning because normally it's a routine. When I wake up, I have the feeling of being hungry so I grab something to eat if I can. On busy mornings it's not so easy because I'm normally on the go and in a hurry. There are a few mornings when I find myself not wanting to eat breakfast because I was still a little full from the night before. Other times I don't eat breakfast is because I wasn't feeling well or I was too emotional from a previous situation that causes me to not have an appetite. .
The foods I normally depend on for nutrients in the morning are cereals. Occasionally I would eat Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds with 2% milk or Kellogg's Fruit Loops. Every day at some point I always eat cereal no matter what. I don't like the taste of milk by itself but once I mix it with cereal I will drink all of it.
