Todays' workforce of three million will need to double by 2050 to meet the needs of the aging population (Katz, Ruth et al.,). Therefore demand for workers in this field is in great need. .
             The salary for CNAs aren't what one would desire for such a profession, According to Pay Scale, median starting pay as of 2014, is between $8.53 to $14.30 per hour. Overtime $5.80 to $20.82 per hour. Total pay averaging $17,941 to $30,835 yearly in 2014. Compassion and the art of giving plays a role. If you are someone that has this nature, this profession is highly recommended. For those that don't possess this, salary alone is definitely not worth it. On the contrary, they're people who love what they do simply for the satisfaction of being able to assure the well-being of another. .
             The average working hours for CNAs are forty hours per week. According to Pay Scale common future jobs for CNAs include Licensed Practical Nurse, earning from $31,212 to $43,749 per year.
