George Tjornam

            
             George Tjornam was born July 18, 1791 in Horten, Denmark. When George was six, his family moved to Oslo. His well to do family bought a house on Gol, a trendy street in Oslo. His mother died when he was 10, she left behind five children and husband Mr. Tjornam P.H.D. Mr. Tjornam was never really capable to get over his wife's death, he never remarried. Mr. Tjornam was an educated man, a well known psychologist, published author and he even volunteered his time at the local high school. Mr. Tjornam was highly respected among the upper class Danish/Norwegian folk. The Tjornam, residence was constantly frequented by politicians, composers and scholars. These friends of Mr. Tjornam greatly influenced George's writings. King Frederick IV, a close friend of George's father, was one of the most influential people in George's life. He was the main person behind the ideas, writings, and he was the man responsible for getting her work published.
             George never really took a liking to school, he never was interested in receiving a formal education but he acquired her sense of style, and writing skills from her father. George worked often with his father, the too were vary close since Mr. Tjornam was the only parental figure head George had. George had a great passion for reading and he loved to write, he was an extremely spiratic author. He would go for several months without writing one sentence, then get a book published with two weeks. His greatest piece of fiction Lucifer's Passions, was written in 20 days. George had a great talent for memorizing, in great detail, the conversations of others. He was easily able to analyze people's characters, and then match their personality to their speech patterns. This attribute contributed depth and truth the characters in his writings. His remarkable ability to memorize lengthy conversations made his writings authentic. .
             George began writing in a diary after his mother's death.
