Benefits of Conducting Business in Canada

.
Canada is classified as a bilingual country, with English and French being the two languages spoken. However, 11 of the provinces of Canada have English as the official language out of 13. According to the Central Intelligence Agency's world fact book, 58.8% speak English, and 21.6% know how to speak French. In my opinion, the ability to being able to communicate with others from different countries should make a big difference when doing business with them. Doing business with another in Canada will be more effective and accessible since there are no language barriers. .
According to Jeff Green, a reporter from Canada's largest daily newspaper; Toronto Star News, the Canadian population surpassed 35 million this year. Canada has a population of over 35 million, which at least 14 million live in Ontario alone with Toronto being the largest provincial city. Toronto is in fact actually the 4th largest city in North America behind Los Angeles (3rd place), New York City (2nd place), and Mexico City in first place according to the report posted on February 5, 2013 from the Huffington Post, written by Lauren Strapagiel. The increase in the population is due to the immigration rate, which is one of the highest in industrialized countries. Laurent Martel, of the demography division of Statistics Canada has stated in the Toronto Star News article that she believes the population of Canada "will break the 40 million mark by 2026, and 50 million by 2054". As more and more people start to immigrate into Canada over time, Canada's economy strengthens. The same way immigrates over the years have help build the US economy; an increase of population can advance on Canada's economy. Immigrants can start great businesses, can develop strong technologies, and can boost demand for local consumer goods in Canada, hence, just like they have done effectively in the United States. .
