Masters of Sea, Air and Land - Navy Seals

Navy SEAL's are trained to be masters of sea, air, and land, which is how they got the name. Their motto is "The only easy day was yesterday, it pays to be a winner." It wasn't until 1962 when John F. Kennedy realized it was necessary to have a special operation unit formed for the United States. "At the time, the United States was struggling to defeat enemy forces in Vietnam. Vietnamese enemies had several advantages that allowed them to consistently defeat the US's more advanced weaponry (Birth of the Navy SEAL's). They were initially established to deal with guerrilla and counter guerrilla tactics using their specialties of sea, air, and land. .
SEAL's are recognized as the United States best special operations force. The basic role of every Navy SEAL is to handle direct action, special reconnaissance, counter-terrorism, and foreign internal defenses. Foreign internal defenses is an act to free and protect its society from subversion, lawlessness, and insurgency. Some of the other jobs they do are counter-drug operations, hostage rescues, personnel recovery, and hydrographic reconnaissance. They are also known for their extremely good stealthiness, which makes it really difficult for them to be stopped. Navy SEAL's are sometimes referred to as Frogmen, The Teams, or The Green Faces. Navy SEAL's are the most elite Special Operations Force in the world because of their training, versatility, equipment, and track record. .
SEAL training is one of the most brutal training camps in the world. "It takes over 30 months to train a Navy SEAL to the point at which he will be ready for deployment and take on real missions. The SEALs that emerge are taught to handle pretty much any task they could be called on to perform, including diving, combat swimming, navigation, demolitions, weapons, and parachuting. The training pushes them to the limit both mentally and physically in order to weed out those who may not be able to successfully complete the demanding missions and operations with which SEALs are faced.
