The Austrian ambassador to Serbia immediately left Belgrade and France, promising to support Russia if they went to war. On the 28th of July, Austria declared war on Serbia and two days later, Russia ordered a general mobilization of troops its troops. On August 1, 1914, Germany declared war on Russia and France, ordering a general mobilization of the German mobility. .

             No. Before June of 1914, there was no definitive reason for war. But the assassination of Franz Ferdinand was motivation enough to go to war. .

During the war, the major feminist groups were committing themselves to supporting their government and in return, they anticipated that due to their efforts, women's suffrage would come to an end. And after the war in 1919, there was a major breakthrough - women over 30 were allowed vote for the first time in American history.

             During the war, Germany was blocked off, prevented from obtaining the goods and raw materials they had to have access to. Food production in the country nearly trickled to a halt, and a rationing system was put in place. Due to the food shortage, the Germans were going hungry, with no consistent financial flow, so, in part, hunger played a role in Germany's surrender.
