             There are three types of diabetes: Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational. Type 1 Diabetes is diagnosed in children and adults and it prevents the body from producing insulin. Gestational Diabetes is developed only in pregnant women and it is usually discovered in the 24th week of the pregnancy. Gestational Diabetes doesn't indicate that the woman or her unborn child will have a life-long battle with diabetes, but it does mean that they must be careful to control their blood sugar through the remainder of their pregnancy.              The human body requires insulin in order for the body to use glucose for energy. Maintaining a healthy diet, and eating regularly will help the body break all the sugars as well as starches into glucose than from there insulin takes the sugar from the blood and takes it to the cell which prevents us from getting Type 2 Diabetes. Well if the glucose was built in blood it can cause some harmful problems to our bodies, such as kidney, heart problems, and even our eyes. .
             Diabetes is a harmful disease, and nobody is that anyone can get it, but there's always a higher risk for others. Type 2 Diabetes is more common in certain races, and certain age.
