Immigration Reform Under the Obama Administration

"Change you can believe in" was the buzz phrase of the 2008 Obama/ Biden campaign for the White house, and the change required at the American borders is among the list of sweeping changes proposed by the new president. But what does the Obama administration really seek to do about illegal immigration? Will it be a top tier issue? Or was immigration reform just part of a well delivered line in a series of ridiculous litmus tests that America needed delivered in order to choose Obama as their new President? .
One thing Obama Connoisseurs must pay particular attention to is the language he uses when speaking of change. Where Mr. Obama has his eyes on the prize of change, he uses words like "I will" or "As President, I intend to". When he's merely seeking to appease the masses clamoring for an audience to their agendas, Mr. Obama uses language like "I support" and "I believe we need to." Neither is a lie, but one speaks of promise to act. The other, of promise to react. In other words, on some issues, Mr. Obama has every intention of taking his cause to Congress, and seeks to bolster that cause by creating public outcry through the internet, using the amazing network his campaign created during the election season. On other issues, he is merely indicating what his inclinations are should someone else's pet project arrive on his desk for his perusal. .
So it is in the case of immigration. Regarding immigration, on the site http://barrackobama.com, the president says the following regarding Immigration:.
             "Create Secure Borders.
Obama and Biden want to preserve the integrity of our borders. He supports additional personnel, infrastructure and technology on the border and at our ports of entry. .
             Improve Our Immigration System.
Obama and Biden believe we must fix the dysfunctional immigration bureaucracy and increase the number of legal immigrants to keep families together and meet the demand for jobs that employers cannot fill.
