My girlfriend and I are thinking of moving out of state at the end of the month, but have no clue of where to go. My girlfriend is always complaining of how hot it is here in Arizona and how she misses her home town of Long Beach in California. I did a little research and narrowed down the list to two beach cities where I think she might love to live; Miami Beach, Florida and San Diego, California. Both cities I think look fabulous but if I"m going to get the chance to choose where I want to live, I want to pick the better of two cities. I know it's going to hard to pick between the two cities, but the one with the best housing, weather, and economy is going to get my vote.
Most likely, like others, your first priority is choosing a place to live. Whether you plan to rent an apartment or purchase a luxurious mansion, your search for shelter is probably best stated by selecting what you want or what will fit your budget. Living in an apartment for the last year my girlfriend does not want to move into another. So we decided to purchase a house, but in what city has not been decide as of yet. In Miami the median home price is $135,200 with an annual property tax of $18.60 per $1,000 of the .
home's value. Home utility costs are on an average of $103.00 per month not counting other small utilities thou. Miami has an average of a 6% home appreciation rate when it comes time to sell. In San Diego the median home price is $230,700 with and annual property tax of $11.70 per $1,000 of the home's value. Home utility costs are on an average of $115.00 not including small utilities. San Diego homes usually have a 9% home appreciation rate. With Miami being cheaper in the home department by a lot I think Miami is getting my vote so far.
The next big major home buying decision is the weather. The weather is very important to my girlfriend; the very reason we are planning on moving in the first place.
