             In a team environment, communication is the key to success. The solution is to have effective communication in your group. In order to communicate effectively, the team must have rules or guidelines to pursue to get the group from point A to point B. There are many techniques or tools to help teams become better communicators. The tool I think is effective is brainstorming. .
             "Brainstorming is a method for developing creative solutions to problems. It works by focusing on a problem, and then deliberately coming up with as many deliberately unusual solutions as possible and by pushing the ideas as far as possible." (demon.co.uk) Use creative brainstorming to increase productivity for team members as well as individuals.
             The first step in brainstorming is to a pull a word by random from the dictionary. Use the word to start thinking of ideas concerning your subject matter. Follow the rules of openness, think outside the box, and do not criticize your teammates. After the brainstorming session, team members can examine the best solutions and decide on possible solutions. .

             • A leader should take control of the session, initially defining the problem, and keep the session on course. He or she should encourage an enthusiastic, uncritical attitude among brainstormers and encourage participation by all members of the team. The leader should set a suggested time for the session, and the leader should ensure that no train of thought is followed for too long.
