Affirmative Action

I believe that most minorities and women will not admit that affirmative action causes reverse discrimination. I think they will not admit because they do not want to own up to the negative aspects of affirmative action, as for example a white man not being accepted in to a school because there are not enough minorities or women in the school. I think that minorities and women will feel that affirmative action has affected them the most in a positive way. I suppose it will affect them positive because they are the ones who get the jobs and acceptance even though they are not as qualified. I also believe they will think it is effective and fair for the same reasons it has affected them in a positive way, and that is because they are the ones who benefit from it the most. I do not think minorities and women will acknowledge that they depend on affirmative action. I feel that they will agree that affirmative action has aided them in their growth. Finally, I believe that none of them would ever consider removing affirmative action because they benefit so much from it. .
On the other hand, I believe that most white males will say that affirmative action causes reverse discrimination, because the white male usually end up not being hired or not being accepted when affirmative action is in effect. I do not think affirmative action has affected white males at all, because they are majority. I feel that they do not think it is neither effective nor fair because maybe some are bitter that minorities and women are given this benefit without working for it. I believe some white males will say that it has aided minority and female growth, because it has to have done something good. Finally, I believe that most white male would rather see affirmative action removed and replaced it with a different method. This method would be start education for minorities earlier and enhance funds, so that they will be better prepared when it comes to admissions and getting a job.
