Why I Want to Be a Healthcare Professional.
Ever since I was a young boy I have been interested in the human body. I have always wanted to learn more about it. Being a healthcare professional would allow me to use the knowledge I wish to gain about the anatomy and physiology of the human body to help people. I want to treat diseases, fix broken bones, take X-rays, and help patients as a career. I also want to help the progression of healthcare by research and experimentation. There are no boundaries on the advances that could take place in the medical field. .
Education has been the principal part of my existence thus far. I attended Saturday School for Leaders and Scholars when I was in elementary school; one of the classes I took was Anatomy. I loved that class. That was my earliest exposure to the details of the human body. My 7th Grade science teacher amazed me when she taught us about cells. This happened again when I took my Biology class in high school. I would want nothing more than to be able to put this and future knowledge to the test as a medical professional. .
Another influential part of my decision to be a medical professional is that my mom is a nurse. I have been exposed to hospitals since I was young. I looked up to both my mom and other doctors and nurses because what they do is help people and save lives. And this is what makes being a healthcare professional so special. There is no greater achievement than saving a life or curing a disease. .
Being a healthcare professional is my goal in life right now. My interest and exposure in the field have led me this way. .
