Euthanasia

Euthanasia must be legalize in all parts of the United State. Euthanasia literally means "good death, "from Greek term eu which mean "good" and thanatos which mean "death". Euthanasia occurs when a patient is in severe pain and is suffering form incurable diseases and the patient then asks someone to perform an action that directly induces the death of the patient. Many people believe that if a patient is unable to survive from some incurable disease, then that patient should be allowed to end their life. Just as a person has the right to live, a person also has the right to die. If a terminally ill person seeks assistance in suicide, people such as physicians or family member ought to provide it. Another reason for the legalization of euthanasia is that no one should have to endure pointless suffering. If a physician couldn't relieve pain and suffering of a patient, then the only way to avoid such suffering is death. Lastly, if a patient remains in a vegetative state then there will be no differences between dying and living because either way the patient does not have a mind of its own. When a patient is in a vegetative state, the patient is brain dead. If a patient is brain dead, then killing the patient will not make any difference. Euthanasia is a practice which is to help a patient to avoid a fate far worse than death. Dying is not painful, but dying without dignity is really painful. Oregon State has just legalized the practice of euthanasia in the year of 1997; therefore, legalization of euthanasia in all of United States is inevitable. .
