She was in her late sixties. She really seemed to enjoy the interaction between herself and the women she was assisting.
As far as the performance, I noticed one in particular. It was a female, probably in her mid to late twenties. She had the most gorgeous red hair I have ever seen. She had the body of an athlete, more than a dancer. She was incredibly muscular with beautiful fair colored skin. Looking back, she was the only performer that I really even remember. In fact, a few days later, my husband mentioned that he had seen a woman in the grocery store that looked just like her. She must have been breathtaking for him to remember her, even days later.
The costumes were usually the same for all performers. They were solid, dark colored leotards for the females and dark colored long-sleeved, button-up shirts and paints. All performers were wearing black dance shoes. Some had a higher heel than others. .
The stage effects involved more lighting than props. The colors changed from pinks and reds to blues and greens. Two scenes used smoke to enhance the atmosphere of the loud, fast performances.
At intermission, my husband and I decided to stand near the front door to get some relief from the heat. We decided to get some refreshments that had to be finished before we could go back to our seats. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Seagram's 7 and 7 Up, while I enjoyed candy Nerds and bottled water. I closed up the box and took the rest of the candy inside to put in my coat pocket. Unfortunately, when we got back to our seat, my husband knocked my arm and I dropped the box of Nerds, which opened, spilling down the aisle. I am positive that this event added to the pre-existing stickiness of the floor. In only got a few glares, until they realized that I was pregnant. With pregnancy seems to come a certain amount of sympathy for clumsiness and several trips to the restroom.
I noticed one person in particular during intermission.
