Bad Math Day

             " A Bad Math Test " .
My feeling towards mathematics is that it's a boring and very difficult subject. An incident that shaped my attitude towards math was a disturbing day in eighth grade. This day wasn't any ordinary day it was the most awful math class I ever had. The night before the "Bad Day" I had been studying for a very important test that was going to take place the next day. I had studied so hard that I knew I was going to ace this test. In the past I had struggled through math test, but this time to make a B in the class I had to get an A on this last test. The pressure was on me, not only was I determined to get all the questions correct, but I was going to get the bonus correct too. The next day arrived, it could not have come any sooner, but I didn't mind I knew I was ready for this test. I had all the materials I needed three sharpen pencils, calculator, and my brain. As I sat patiently waiting for my math teacher to pass out the test, I began to repeat formulas and steps in my head. My math teacher than started to pass out the test, before I looked at it I took a deep breath and counted to three. When I turned the test over I jumped to the first problem. I knew the answer so in a rush I wrote down the answer and the same with the second problem. When I came upon a more difficult problem I turned to my calculator for the answer, I typed the numbers but something wasn't quite right, I punched in the numbers again and nothing was showing up, my calculator had gone dead. In a panic I lifted my hand, I told the teacher my situation. She couldn't help me because she didn't have an extra calculator. Frustrated, I skipped the problem and went on with the test. Time began to fly by, even though I didn't have my calculator, I still manage to finish the test on time. I had a few minutes left and I was able to check over my test. When I was checking my test over I realized I didn't read the directions, I did many of the problems wrong or I didn't finish them.
