Sarah and Tom are just married and are off to their honeymoon. Sara's family isn't very supportive of their relationship and she also has a former fling that follows them to Europe. Pretty much everything goes wrong and Sara thinks Tom cheated on her and Tom is upset that her old fling kisses her, he missed the part when she slapped the guy. They end up going their separate ways when they get back from Europe but Tom realizes how much he loves Sara after thinking back on their relationship and Sarah and her family from the gate and they live happily ever after.
Sara is a rich blonde who loves her dog and likes to have fun. She is an Art history major which becomes somewhat important later in the movie. She has big eyes, is thin, young, big bust, fashionable, .
Tom is tall, young, thin, athletic, funny, and unpredictable. He is really into sports and does the traffic update on the radio graveyard shift.
As far as stereotyping goes, Sarah is your average girly girl with a rich daddy. She is submissive, caring, and moves a little too quickly in relationships. She is a little into herself and is a bit materialistic. Tom is very into materialistic items such as looks, and places a little too much importance on thing such as sports and his own ego. He likes to be in control but doesn't stop to listen to his partner. He is kind of in the dark as far as what to do in a relationship and doesn't think too much about others" point of view.
Sara was pretty down to earth and just wanted to have a good time. She is a lot like me in many ways and like my friends. Her character is believable. She sees the honeymoon as a time to be romantic, have fun, and have sex, yet she is also worried about what her parents are going to think because now they will definitely know that she is not a virgin anymore. A lot of girls my age think that love is the only thing that matters in a relationship, which is pretty much the theme of the whole movie.
