Ethnic Problems and a Solution

The doers also put their unfriendly words against the Asians on flyers. Although these expressions are not spontaneous, it shows that the locutions are hostile. These are forms of verbal rejections. There is discrimination present because the doers are denying the victims" human rights, respect and personal privacy. The doers are not tolerant of the victims" identity. The doers hate the victims for their ethnicity. In addition, the doers do not respect the victims" right to have privacy. [like what?] Then there are physical attacks; however, the physical attacks are passive. In other words, the painting on the wall and printing of flyers are forms of attack. The attack is not directly towards the victimized individuals like a punch or a kick, but seeing the offensive images on the wall or seeing the hostile statements on the fliers [u wrote "flyers" at the beginning, which is the correct word?] are as painful as taking a punch or a kick. .
The combination of verbal rejections, discrimination and physical attack are just the beginning. These actions are like small flames that are being fueled by rich burning oil.              The doers formed groups and alienated the Jewish and Asians. Members that are in the group are considered to be part of an in-group. In-groups also refer to groups in which members share similar values, language, beliefs and or religion. Out-groups refer to groups in which members do not share similar values, language, beliefs and or religion with the in-group. When the doers formed their in-groups, they had standards or qualifications. These standards and qualifications determine who is in the in-group. These same standards and qualifications determine who is not in the in-group (Allport, 1979). People who are part of the in-group are treated well.
