Psychology is sometimes described as the study of human behavior and the human mind and thoughts. Psychology is also the study of the human resources and the way a human reacts to the environment around him or her. People many times use reverse psychology as well to try to figure out people more. That seems to be a constant mission for humans, to figure out what they do not know, here it being mankind itself. Psychology is one way in which to better learn one another. Many people try to get into other people's heads to figure them out and why they act the way they do. Many factors account for why one acts the way they do, and psychology is just that, studying this. Psychologists try to search and examine the factors of why people are who they are, and what makes them do certain things, such as personalities, traits, habits, etc. When they can begin to understand this, they can also begin to help their patients. The saying "Knowledge is power" applies very directly to psychology. With that being said, I hope to learn very much in this psychology class, so that I can better understand mankind itself, and how we become who we become and change into. Everything in our life factors into it, whether it's traumatic, such as a major death, or monumental, such as an extreme award, or birth, for example. Every action has a reaction, and in the case of our lives, it is no different. Whatever happens to us, we must react to it somehow, and this reaction therefore changes us for either the better or the worse. In conclusion, psychology is the study of the human behavior and mind, and why we continue to change and act the way we do and respond the actions around us. .
