Child Abuse

When he came out and was reintroduced into society he went crazy, because he was not used to human interaction of any kind. .
Another story is about two little boys who were forced to live in their basement, chained to whatever their parents could find. Finally someone came to their "rescue", or so they thought. It was their mother brought the boys up to the bathroom. She tied the older boy to the toilet. However, he was chained to the base of the commode and couldn't actually use the bathroom. The other boy was chained to a towel rack, attached to the wall so he couldn't get away from it. The mother came back a few hours later and suffocated the younger boy with a trash bag and left him there. Terrified the older boy wet his pants. It was nearly a week later before they were found. .
Another account of mental abuse occurred to someone I know, who will not be named for her own personal protection. Though her story isn't as traumatic as the previous stories. Her mother's now ex boyfriend did many things to her. He made her eat after him, meaning he would chew the food up and give it to her like a bird. He called her "Fatty", he burned cigarettes into her arm, and he made her watch horror movies over and over and if she closed her eyes while watching the gruesome killing parts he would beat her. Once in the middle of the night when her mother worked the graveyard shift, he blindfolded her in her sleep and pretended to kidnap her. He drove her around town to make it seem like he was taking her deep into the woods or something, and that he was going to kill her. Then he put her back into her bed and said she was lucky because her mom had paid the ransom. These are some of the severe mental abuse cases but even just ignoring a child all his or her life can be traumatizing.
One in three children experience sexual abuse. This is probably the most traumatizing of the abuses because it also includes physical and mental abuse.
