             At graduation Forrest's facial expressions show that he does not really care about graduating. I do not think that he really understands the importance of graduation and how good it is. The whole sense of occasion goes over his head. This is when the army officer comes over to Forrest and says, "have you ever thought about your career?" He then hands Forrest a leaflet on joining the army. Forrest then takes the .
             leaflet and looks at it. Tom Hanks facial expressions show that he is interested, and later on he joins.
             When Forrest joins the army, the general likes him a lot, because he will do anything he is told to do. During the bombing in Vietnam, Forrest has a best friend Bubba who he meets on the bus. .
             In the Vietnam forest, they have quite a bombardment and many of the soldiers get injured. Forrest runs all the way out of the forest, forgetting all of the people that he has left behind. When Forrest gets out of the forest he looks around and sees no one. This is when he remembers Bubba. Tom Hanks" startled and shocked expression shows how worried he is. At this point he runs into the forest and goes to find Bubba. Along the way he saves everyone until he finally finds Bubba, who is very badly injured. .
             Bubba eventually dies. Tom Hanks plays this part so well that you actually forget that he is acting. He makes you think that you are watching a true story, and Bubba is really dead.
             Forrest later on meets the President for the second time and react in exactly the same way as he did before. He does not understand how important the President is. Forrest then gets dismissed from the army and invests in a shrimp boat business. He is doing this to follow Bubba's dream.
             Soon forests mum is very ill with cancer And Forrest is staying by her side because he is very worried about her. Eventually she dies. Forrest shows some deep emotion for his mother and again Tom Hanks plays this part so well that you actually think that it is real life.
