Morality is concerned about the areas of "right", "wrong" and "good" or "bad" insofar as these relate to the way people behave. Also on the issue of how people ought to behave or act in society. There are two categories of morals. The first being subjective reality, which refers to what the individual perceives to be so. Second is objective morality, which refers to what the actuality is- weather or not the individual perceives it to be that way. Morals and courage are used to manipulate personality. The decision to be selfish or unselfish is not just a choice of the moment, but is a fundamental part of character. It is one of the first values that are formed by the developing mind of a baby. A person's morality progresses greatly due to the behavior of people around that person and the circumstances of the life of that person only if it is positive. A person with good morality is someone who has basic moral principles. Basic moral principles represent the wisdom of human experience over ages. These principles are widely held and one can think of them as universal. With good morals often comes courage. Courage or fortitude is the ability to do what is right in the face of harm or that of injury can become more courageous. Many people in everyday life, characters in books even, are challenged to stick to their morals and strengthen their courage through everyday life. In The Crucible by Arthur Miller many characters including John Proctor, Elizabeth Proctor and Rebecca Nurse have strong moral values and courage. .
