Throughout the novel the theme of love is heavily linked with money but seems to be of less importance when discussing it along with money, this is shown within the opening paragraph of Pride and Prejudice: " It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife". ...
