1. Romeo and Juliet
The picture of the rose also shows this as although Romeo and Juliet's first encounter was as beauteous as that of a rose, like the flower if one looked further down the hurt symbolised in the thorns was awaiting these two lovers. The holes in the picture of the fence in my collage show that although there were gaps in the wall separating these two families allowing both Romeo and Juliet to reach one another, as seen in the scene when they met, there was still a strong barrier between them.
