1. Great Depression
Although the economy was on it's last leg, the stock market was staying afloat. Until October 21st 1929, stocks were starting to drop rapidly so most of the stock holders began to sell, before they could the next day known as "Black Tuesday" changed history , 16.4 million shares changed hands. The collapse of the stock market did not cause "The Great Depression" like many may think, it was a total accumulation of wealth, bad business deals and the stock market . ... At this time The Great Depression had psychological effects and health effects on our nation. ......
