Bioinformatics can be defined as "The mathematical, statistical and computing methods that aim to solve biological problems using DNA and amino acid sequences and related information.9" A fundamental principal of biology is that the genes within each DNA cell are encoded with RNA, which produces the proteins that regulate all of the biological processes within an organism. The human body is made up of an estimated 1012 cells, each of which contains 23 pairs of chromosomes that are comprised of approximately 20,000 - 40,000 genes which in turn contain some 3 billion pairs of DNA bases....
