The most impressive event for me in this book was the in one of the battles which is in chapter 9: Paul separated from his company, and forced to hide in the shell hole. ... But it was too late; the French soldier was dying. ... From this event happened on Paul, we can understand that Paul is a very sensitive, compassionate, and pure-hearted man. ... The book made more sense of the essential of the war, and how the young men had been destroyed in the war. ... Paul was died just at the end of war, just because of the little butterfly. ...
